Trigger finger
Trigger finger occurs when the lining of the tendons of the fingers become inflamed and do not slide well. This is usually as a result of overuse, with the tendons sheaths growing scared and thickened. These bumps mean the movement of the finger joints is impaired.
SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS
Finger stiffness, more prominent in the morning
Popping/clicking sensation whilst moving the fingers
Finger locking whilst bending and straightening
Swelling at the finger
Tender/soreness
