Achilles Tendon Pain
The Achilles tendon is the thickest and strongest tendon in the human body, connecting the calf muscles (gastrocnemius and soleus) to the heel bone (calcaneus). Despite this, excessive use during athletic activity like jogging and dancing might still subject it to high load and strain. Achilles tendon overload may also be brought on by going excessively up and down hills and slopes if the body is not accustomed to such exertion.
